It was the end of a long day, and I was in need of a good meal. I was looking to expand my culinary horizons, and found Little Ochie appealing.
I ordered the jerk chicken, with a side of plantains, cabbage, and rice.
The jerk chicken was cooked with a good blend of spices, as was the rice. They were spicy, as advertised, and the plantains complemented the meal well.
I got my food delivered in a reasonable amount of time, and the transaction was seamless.
Little Ochie's jerk chicken definitely stood out amongst the many food options here in NYC. I will definitely consider them the next time I'm in the mood for good Jamaican food. -

We were nearby visiting the Alexander Hamilton museum and wanted to try some authentic Caribbean food. We got the small oxtail with rice and beans plus cabbage, and chicken stew with the same sides. There is one 2 top inside the joint which we were grateful for because we weren't sure where we would take it to picnic. Oh my, the oxtail and chicken were so flavorful and tender. Food was piping hot and hit the spot on a cold windy day. Credit card can be used with $10 minimum.

Great food. Although, it's cash payment only and very small. I wouldn't recommend to dine in but the food is delicious.

The food is a hit or miss. Lately it's been good but the portions aren't. A medium oxtail and it's actually full of fat and 4 little oxtail and a ton of gravy. I'm going to post a picture. It looks like it has a ton of oxtails but it's truly fat, gravy, and 4 little pieces of oxtail sitting on top to make it seem like it's full. For the price I would have just appreciated if the women told me the oxtail is running low or finishing up for the day. Not just try to take my money and give me food like this Smfh. 4 OXTAILS. The second plate is insulting look at the presentation and the amount of food. More gravy in this tray then anything. I try to support black business and this is why most consumers don't. Your own people try to play you.
